About this Course

Join us as we kayak down the scenic Willis Creek. Willis Creek is a secluded creek that is connected to Lake Granger. Actual paddling time is about 2 hours. Kayaks, paddles, personal flotation devices, transportation, and instruction are included. Participants should come dressed in their kayaking attire. Please bring drinking water, a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Participants will need to complete the Liability Waiver on their account. Details will be sent in an email about a week prior to the activity. We will meet at the Parks Administration Building (1101 N College St.) and take a 15 passenger van to Willis Creek Park. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Recreation programs must meet minimum participant requirements prior to start date of the course, typically 7 days. Courses not meeting minimum requirements will be canceled. Full refunds will be issued for departmental cancellations. Full refunds/transfers will only be given if notice is received 10 or more days prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be given if notice occurs less than 10 days prior to the start of the program.
